"pulmonary embolism"

About: Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

feeling out of breath, dizzy, was taken to victoria hospital fife A& E by neighbour, straight onto wheelchair and into emergency where they hooked me up to various machines, advised I had clots in my lungs and was going to be admitted for treatment. this made me a bit anxious but I was fully informed at all times and the nurses were patience personified, especially considering some of the other people they were dealing with. I was looked after by Jillian and Louise on day and night shift and cannot say enough good things about them.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. I am pleased that your experience was so positive. It is lovely to hear that although you were anxious, the team were able to support you well during such a worrying time. We pride ourselves on excellent person centred care. I do hope you are keeping well following your admission to our hospital. I will make sure the team, especially Jillian and Louise are aware of your feedback.

Take care and best wishes

Jamie
