I want to write and praise the nhs staff after my stay in hospital in January.
Firstly I would like to thank Joanne and SCN Sandra for their fantastic care I received from their service. They really are amazing and I was booked the very next day for an emergency op. Their clinic service is fantastic and could not fault them.
I was then admitted to the SEAL unit where Carol dealt with my admission. She was excellent and answered all questions and eased any worries I had. SN Jemma my recovery nurse was amazing and when I woke up she was there making sure I was ok and pain free. She truly is an asset to theatres recovery.
Lastly the two nurses in Day Bed were so caring and compassionate. Their names were Bobbie and Kerin. They were so kind and I felt safe and well looked after. The SEAL unit and Day Bed are an amazing service. Every member of staff I met were friendly and made you feel comfortable.
When it was time for my discharge, all my paperwork and medications were ready and there was no waiting about. We are extremely lucky to have the NHS and the staff don’t receive enough praise for what they do. Many thanks again.
