"Excellent asthma review"

I was extremely impressed by the nurse conducting my annual asthma review. When I described the side-effects of steroid inhalers I had been prescribed, she was able to identify the drug which was causing the problem and suggest a trial alternative medication. The nurse also suggested a follow-up telephone appointment to check on its suitability. She also spotted that I was now eligible for a pneumonia vaccination which I gratefully accepted. I left the surgery with a strong sense of her conscientious concern and efficiency.
