"Need to review appointment system"

I have been trying for three weeks to make an appointment for a medication review, I am unable to see any appointments online despite NHS guidelines stating that up to 50% of appointments should now be available for online booking.

If you phone to book one they have nothing available to book in advance, you must phone in the mornings at 8am, I am at work at 8am so this is impossible for me.

Firstly can I apologise for not responding sooner to your comment. The replying NHS portal was updated as were Practices e-mail addresses, we are now on NHS.net e-mails. Both these processes took a lot of time to access and set up, not sure why, so there was a delay.

We are sorry that you find it difficult to book an appointment. Our online system seems to be working well as we have not had any other patients complaining that they could not access the appointments available. If you are still having issues can I suggest you call in at the surgery, we are open until 6.30 each evening and 8pm on Thursday's, so we can look into the issues and, if necessary, re-register you for online services.

Apologies again for the issues you have experienced and hope the system is now more suitable for you.
