"very poor clinic some obstructive staff"

About: Haywood Hospital

we had been attending the clinic for several years for my husbands rheumatoid arthritis. told last appt would be in 6 months, 15 months later nothing, some nursing staff unhelpful always given the run around, fobbed off. Emergency number an answer machine, times when husband in pain and asked for help no one rang back, you have to get a bit impatient on the answer machine before anyone replies. Feel sorry for folk who cant speak up for themselves, I am an ex nurse so can have sympathy for nhs workers but that clinic is very poor. stupidly long waits on visiting the dept. we going to Rheumy dept at Leighton now so much better!
