"Really kind and practical"

About: Epsom Hospital

My grandmother was in hospital this month when she died and the behaviour and attitude of the nurses were exemplary. They made every effort to make her comfortable and make her last moments as pain-free as possible. She was initially in a lot of pain but the nurses and doctors medicated her so she was no longer in any pain and was peaceful with her family by her side at the end. The nurses on the shifts approaching her death did everything to assure us and comfort us when she finally passed, giving us dignity and as much privacy as possible. I have to recommend the palliative inpatient team as well as the nursing teams on AMU and Buckley ward. My family are very grateful for all you did
