I was fortunate enough to be suitable for knee replacement surgery as a day patient at Barlborough treatment centre.

I had heard good reports from a number of people including my neighbour & a family member.

The care & attention I received was even better than I was expecting. The whole experience from booking in, through pre operative procedures, the surgery itself & after care & physiotherapy were first class.

The team involved at every stage were friendly & professional & have obviously worked very hard together to become such an effecient unit.

Whilst on the day ward I enjoyed 2 very good meals with a menu full of varied choice.

I left the unit with all necessary medication & appointments for follow up assessments & received a phone call the following day to check on my progress with all the relevant contact details should there be any concerns.

I am optimistic that providing I follow the recommended regime of medication & physio excercise I should be well on the way to full recover & pain free by my 6 week assessment. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Barlborough Treatment Centre to anyone in need of any similar procedure.
