"Professional and Caring "

I had hip replacement Surgery in December 2019.

From the moment I arrived at the North East Treatment Centre to my departure I was very impressed with the entire staff for their professional and caring approach to my treatment. My Consultant and Anaesthetist had already outlined the procedure in detail and on the day of the Surgery they were there again to ease my mind and answer any last minute questions. The Nursing staff and auxiliary helpers were just as professional and caring and following the operation a Very experienced physiotherapist helped me to gain confidence in walking with the new hip and negotiating stairs with crutches. I must admit to being very apprehensive about climbing and descending stairs so quickly after surgery but my fears were very quickly dismissed as I managed them easily.

The food was very good and there was ample choices for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. In addition a morning coffee and afternoon tea were very welcome.

All of the staff were quick to respond to the My personal bed alarm and were constantly checking to see if I was ok and needed anything. This was 24 hour care as the night shift were just as diligent as the day shift.

On my departure, I was given home aids to help my recovery and one of the lovely nurses, helped me to the taxi and showed me the correct way of entering and exiting a car!

I live in Gillingham in Kent and I have no hesitation in recommending patients to the North East London Treatment Centre.
