"Breast Clinic"

About: Borders General Hospital / General Medicine

(as the patient),

In 2019 I was referred to the breast clinic at Borders General Hospital.  Naturally this caused some anxiety for me.

When I attended the clinic, all the staff made me feel cared for and as reassured as you can be when facing tests for breast cancer.  I was lucky, and everything came back clear, but I felt I would be supported whatever the outcome.    I just wanted to say thank you.

Dear TicToc Granny,

Thank you for your feedback. Understandably you would be anxious, however I am pleased that the staff reassured you and they provided you with the care and compassion we would expect from our staff.

I am pleased the results came back negative.

We appreciate the time you have taken to provide feedback, I will ensure the staff that work in the Breast Clinic are informed.

Many Thanks

Kirsteen

Clinical Manager.
