"Prompt treatment following diagnosis of Bladder…"

About: York Hospital

I was referred to York hospital Urology department for surgery following an initial report following an ultrasound scan carried out at Bridlington, and subsequent CT scan carried out at York which confirmed I had Bladder cancer at an advanced stage.

I was in York hospital over the weekend following surgery by the consultant who was very informative and respectful

During my stay all the staff involved with my care were courteous and helpful and their professionalism could not be faulted.

I am extremely grateful for the prompt treatment and care I received The hospital is first rate.

Thank you for letting us know about the service you received at both our Bridlington and York Hospitals. It's great to hear that the consultant was informative and helpful, as I know what a difference that can make. I'm pleased that all of our staff continued that same level of treatment during your hospital stay. I hope you are recovering well at home and should you need to use our services again, I hope you receive the same level of care.
