"Amazing treatment"

I had cataract surgery last week and just wanted to thank all the amazing staff at the Sussex Eye Hospital. I was given clear and easy to understand information and had plenty of time to ask questions at the assessment. On the day of the surgery I was looked after so well and again given clear explanations before, during and after surgery (including having a volunteer hold my hand during the operation which was really comforting). I appreciated the follow-up phone call the day after surgery and the nurse I spoke to was able to answer my questions and gave really good advice about aftercare. All of the written information I was given throughout was easy to read and understand. The waiting area, toilets and recovery area were spotlessly clean and there was plenty of hand sanitiser available. I cannot imagine I could have received better care anywhere, so thank you so much to the brilliant NHS and everyone at the Sussex Eye Hospital, you are doing a fantastic job and it's much appreciated!
