"Audiology appointment "

About: Newark Hospital

I left my appointment quite traumatised . Having accessed other depts at this hospital and found them to be excellent i am upset to find this wasn’t the case in audiology . The audiologist was brusque , rude and made zero eye contact .Snapped the head phones on me for a hearing test (Wonkily) and barked commands at me . All the while I felt like I had done something wrong and that he was mentally elsewhere . After a very short and odd test he proclaimed me to be “fine “ and I was told to “ go now, your hearings in the normal range “ ( I have proven hearing loss)

For various reasons I was treated most unprofessionally and speeded through the process . I was treated like I was invisible and didn’t matter and left feeling as such .
