"First class service with a smile"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Acute Medical Receiving Unit

(as the patient),

I was recently referred to Monklands by my GP due to ongoing chest pains.  The staff at the hospital were excellent.  I was taken to the ambulatory department where the whole process was explained to me and my husband.  They were extremely caring and went to great lengths to ensure I was looked after and kept up to date throughout, which really helped to allay my fears and remain calm.

Considering how busy they were they delivered an excellent service and still managed to smile.

Once again thank you to everyone for a first class service.

Dear Poshtrebor,

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback via Care Opinion. I was sorry to learn that you had to use our services recently.

By all accounts, it sounds like your experience was really good and I was delighted to hear that the staff within Ambulatory Care made your experience so person centred and unique. The staff in Ambulatory care really do strive for clinical excellence whilst ensuring a calm and relaxed environment despite how busy things get.

I will be sure to pass on your lovely comments to the team who I am sure will be delighted to read.

Best wishes,

Gav
