"Exemplary care by a fantastic front line team"

I got taken into the Acute Medical Assessment ward by ambulance for a heart problem. I spent one night in that ward and then got sent to the Cardiac Care unit for one night. In both cases I was given an exemplary level of professional and very effective health care from every Dr, Nurse, HCA and ancillary staff member in spite of the fact they were rammed full of poorly people, some sadly much worse than myself. They are a super front line team of truly dedicated people who work seamlessly with each other. The hospital wards I experienced were very clean and tidy and kept that way all day. The hospital food was very good as hospital food goes, food was fresh and appetising and served with a smile

All organisations can do better with adequate funding but Shrewsbury Royal are doing a fabulous job with what they have got. I just hope the government’s promises are not in fact falsehoods
