Had to attend Plastic Surgery Trauma clinic after a pocket knife sprang closed on my palm leaving a very deep but clean cut, was reffered from Alnwick walk in centre.

Seen quickly and sent to Ward 39 for stitches. Long wait as surgery didn't start to 12 noon but the staff were great, the staff looked after me.

All staff including the surgeon were very help in getting me in and out of theatre ASAP as I am a carer and my wife who I care for was alone at home bed bound.

Amazing theatre staff kept mood light chatting to me as I was having a local injection.

Home that afternoon and today amazed how quickly it is healing with very little pain. Down to the skill of the surgeon.

Grateful to all on the ward.
