"Stem cell collection"

I attended the unit at Aberdeen to have stem cells collected prior to transplant.

The nurses were amazing, highly professional and very skilled. But above all they were kind caring and compassionate, exactly what the NHS and nursing aspires to. A model team, interacting easily with the consultants and laboratory service keeping me informed and inspiring confidence at all times. They even phoned the next day to check how I was. I’m grateful and quite overwhelmed by the excellence of the service and the kindness of the staff.
