This is my first hospital experience as a patient in my mid 50s and I was very nervous and concerned. I was on the ward for 3 days for medication and monitoring and all the staff I met were so kind, helpful and reassuring - to copy the other peoples words "Angels".
In hindsite I was an easy patient as I was self sufficient in many respects being a lot younger than many of the others in my bay but it was intensely clear watching how all the staff on the various shifts took time to help, reassure and make the other less fortunate patients comfortable. All the Consultants, Doctors and Registrars I met were approachable, clear and very friendly and their information was easy to understand.I could not have asked for any more from the experience. 100% to Ward 12 !I do hope all of the team will get to see my comments.
