So many hoops to jump through! Told whoever answered the phone that I need to register and make an appointment to see a GP - I was told I couldn’t make an appointment until I called in to register bringing photo id and documentary evidence of who I am (despite their access to nhs CHRIS database) whoever I spoke to actually went out of her way to sound bewildered and scornful. The disinterested and careless tone and approach were entirely natural

I am sorry that you have experienced issues trying to register with the practice. All patients are required to complete and sign a GMS1 form and it is practice policy that we ask for photo ID and proof of address to ensure patients are registered correctly and matched on the Patient Demographics Spine (PDS). If you wish to discuss this matter further please contact the practice and ask to speak to the Practice Manager.
