I recently gave birth to my little boy at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. The care I have received from my first maternity appointment, midwife appointments, scans, the birth itself and the aftercare cannot be faulted whatsoever. Every midwife I encountered at both QMH and VHK were all so lovely, kind and supportive. I was genuinely blown away by how every single one took the time to make me feel comfortable and informed throughout my pregnancy and birth journey. I got the water birth I wanted and it was calm and manageable thanks to the support I received from several of the midwifes that day. I cannot thank those incredible ladies enough: )

Thank you so much for taking the time to send us your story.

I am so pleased to hear that you had a positive experience throughout your pregnancy and birth journey. It is lovely to know that you were meet with kindness, made comfortable and felt supported during your time within our maternity services. Midwives strive to support woman in a variety of ways to try and achieve the birth each woman and her family wish for so to read this feedback is heart warming.

I will pass on your story to all of the staff that cared for you as it really does give them a boost to receive such positive feedback.
