About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

Staff were helpful, efficient and thoughtful. The experience felt dignified. The only down side was that discussing patient cases was not very private. Apart from that everything else was a positive experience and I would not be worried about having another surgery in the Day Case Unit. I would also recommend the Day Surgery Unit to others.

We understand and appreciate your concerns surrounding the limited privacy offered by screens. We are constrained by the physical layout of the unit however the team do try to ensure they maintain privacy as much as is possible within these constraints.
