"Appalling Pre-Op Assessment "

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) (London)

Very upset by my treatment last week when attending my pre-operative assessment. Very anxious and stressed by upcoming surgery, feelings only made much worse by the persistent negative attitude shown by the nurse completing my assessment. Really needs to work on her sarcastic and accusatory tone, felt more like I was in a Police interrogation room than a Hospital. You clearly hate your role, but really if you can't show your patients the basic courtesy and respect we all deserve then maybe you are in the wrong profession. Absolutely appalling - left the department feeling very low and upset indeed.
