"Fantastic Care"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Paediatrics

(as a service user),

I took my son into Glasgow sick kids after I felt he was having increased work of breathing, there was a minimal wait for triage and then we were taken straight through to majors. The consultant (ED) and CDU doctors was lovely, friendly and professional and Natasha (ED) Mari (student in ED) ,Linda and Hazel (CDU) were excellent. They were all compassionate, friendly and put my son at ease. The lovely ward clerkess even put on peppa pig for my son when he wasnt very happy!

What a great team, I couldn't of asked for better care.

Dear OsMum20,

I hope that your son is on the mend and doing well

Thank you for your lovely feedback regarding your experience in attending our ED and CDU.

Your comments will be fed back to the staff, to which they will be delighted by them.

I am glad that even though your son was unwell, the staff were able to put him at ease, and you were seen in a timely manner.

Kind Regards

Mandy

Dear OsMum20

I would like to reinforce our appreciation of the lovely feedback you have provided. I understand how worrying a time this will have been for you and it is great to hear that our teams across the Emergency Department and the Clinical Decisions Unit were able to treat your young son quickly and provide such compassionate care.

I have passed on my thanks to the staff involved for the care they provided to you and your son and their ongoing efforts in these departments.

I hope your son is doing better and recovering well at home.

Best wishes

Jamie
