I visited the Pennywell Medical Centre in the company of colleagues from the Patients Participation Group to take part in a course about CPR/SEPSIS Training and this was arranged by Sunderland GP Alliance. Which was very useful, informative and helpful into our understanding into how to help members of the public suffering from a medical emergency.
We covered a wide range of subjects such as Sepsis Awareness, AED Defibrillation, Resuscitation Skills, Adult and Paediatric Basic Life Support, Asphyxiation/Choking and how to recognise and manage Anaphylactic Shock.
