Daughter waited 6 hours for a bed in obs ward- saw no Dr from Fri pm to Mon am. The room on obs ward had previous occupants urine in toilet and dirty towels- cleaning operative removed towels but moaned when asked to wipe over chair/toilet with cleaning stuff. Not hygienic at all. The Dr she did see on Monday made errors with who she was and why she was there. Prescribed medicine was out of stock Saturday/ Sunday so none given until Monday morning.

On Ward 21 persistently forgotten at meal times - was told no gluten free options despite on notes saying that she is seriously intolerant (has Crohns)-some lovely nurses but clearly no where near enough to cope. Some non- nursing staff clearly in the wrong job as everything was too much trouble for them to do- requests met with eye rolling and tutts.

We are terribly sorry that your daughter has had such a poor experience with our hospital and that the staff were rude and unhelpful and we would like to look into this further.
