"Treatment for an infected finger"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I attended Queen Elizabeth University Hospital   Glasgow with a painful infected finger at the weekend.   To avoid a long wait in A& E I was sent to the nearby Minor Injuries unit where the problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently by very pleasant staff.   This is apparently a new unit installed to try to reduce delays in A& E.   It was very effective in this respect as far as I was concerned and the unit was clean, modern and well set up. I was most impressed.

Hello Minor Injury Unit User,

Thank you for taking the time to share your lovely feedback with us, it's very much appreciated.

I'm glad you were impressed with our minor injury unit, that you were treated quickly and efficiently and that staff were pleasant.

I have passed your feedback on to the general manager, who will be able to share it with all of the staff. I'm sure they'll be delighted to receive it!

I hope your finger is on the mend now.

Very best wishes,

Rachel
