"Did not feel safe"

About: Leicester General Hospital

Initially approached by doctor who had the wrong patient. Had to remind nurse that I was having sedation. Cannula not fitted correctly. Doctor said in initial interview that I did not really need to have the procedure, but as I was here anyway! Procedure was so painful that I was writhing in pain and cannula came out. Was not replaced. Endured very painful procedure. Post procedure practice was posted on the walls of recovery area, but was not followed. Very unprofessional treatment. I was glad to get out of there, and will not return if I am conscious to make that decision.
