"My experience after taking a Bowel Screening Test"

About: New Victoria Hospital / X-rays and scans Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / General surgery (Wards 9a, 9b, 9c & 9d) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Xrays and Scans

(as the patient),

Test proved positive so had colonscopy. Sister Weston, Victoria hospital Glasgow took charge of the procedure. Large polyp found needed to be removed by Consultant surgeon. Biopsies taken and benign, Cat Scan arranged and area around polyp clear. Still not sure if polyp cancerous so Consultant Mr Alani decided to treat it as cancerous just to ensure he was able to prepare for any eventually during surgery. Cannot thank Mr Alani, Sister Weston and the staff of 9a that looked after me enough. I owe you so much, my heartfelt thanks.
