This is the worst surgery I have ever come across! Not only are the reception staff extremely rude and seriously lacking people skills but the lack of appointments available is shocking! I was requested by a doctor to make an appointment to review some medication, tried to make an appointment and the lovely male receptionist just kept dismissing my request insisting the only way to make an appointment was to ring up at 8am on Monday Wednesday or Friday which he told me repeatedly! I need an advanced appointment and continued to say it's impossible to get through at 8am to which his reply was simply "Bye" and he put the phone down.

Firstly can we apologise for you having to comment in a negative way about the surgery. We do try to offer a good all round service but this seems to not have been the case for you. If you have a computer and are not signed up to our online service, can I suggest you do this as you may find getting an appointment easier, please speak to the receptionist about this. Also, which the receptionist should have informed you, we have 'embargoed' slots both morning and evening which are only released at a certain time, so if you logged into the system at 8am you will get an appointment for the morning or, if you were willing to come to the surgery for 8am an appointment will be available the same day. Evening 'embargoed' slots are available from 12.30pm. Advanced appointments are also available online. Our phone lines are open from 8am, just in case you do not know. The receptionist will be spoken to about your comments.
