"Avoid coming under their care if you can."

About: Foundation House

Terrible service, use a one size fits all approach, when in fact it doesn’t. Waited until my life was completely striped of anything recognisable, then was told because their one size didn’t fit me, I was being discharged from services... jobless, homeless and with no income or support network. Terrible service, which made lots of assumptions about me, documented these without checking facts or evidence. If you can avoid coming under this service do!!! They will strip you bare and then drop you, placing the onus on you.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback and I’m so sorry to hear about your experience of Foundation House. Your comments are very sad to hear and a long way from what we strive to achieve. I would really appreciate the opportunity to talk to you to understand more about your experience to be able to learn from this and ensure others do not have a similar experience.

If you would like to talk about it further, please call us on 01823 368350 and ask to speak to Clare Munt (Manager of the Community Mental Health Team) or you can contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service, who can listen to your concerns and try and help, on 01278 432022 or pals@sompar.nhs.uk.
