Over the course of my time on a waiting list for surgery I have constantly had to initiate contact amidst mixed up appointments, promises to call not kept and being left off the lists. The department only calls back when the situation becomes urgent and they realise their mistakes.
i get transferred from person to person with no department taking responsibility and my GP has ad similar experience when trying to get advice and information from the team.
