"SAME DAY APPOINTMENT for VISITING US CITIZEN"

Visiting England for three weeks, the ear infection I had before leaving the states was continuing to plague me even after completing the complete round of antibiotics my US physician had prescribed so I called the Chipping Campden Surgery as soon as we arrived in the town. The friendly receptionist was able to book me an appointment that same late afternoon and ensured I would be bringing my passport and that I had the directions to the clinic. The Dr. saw me at the appointed time, asking me about my malady and whether my US physician had ascertained the appropriate antibiotic for the specific infection, something few doctors in the US seem to worry about. The Dr. did an examination and ensured me that I needed no further antibiotics and what over-the-counter medication would ease any latent pain. I was extremely impressed by the cleanliness of the facility, the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and the fact that I was asked to pay no bill!!!
