"Slow service long queus! "

About: Hillingdon Hospital

The hospital is not as bad as many reviews mention however, there's always a huge queue and only half the staff working at the phlebotomy department!

Would like to suggest that dietetic people join the anti-coagulation queu please.

As we normally have to get our blood tests done whilst fasting and, this can be quiet difficult...

Diabetic people can understand what i am talking about...

Thanks

Thank you very much for taking time to give feedback during your visit to the phlebotomy department. We do try to see as many patients as quickly as possible. However the majority of our patients who attend the phlebotomy department in the morning are having fasting bloods so if we were to have a separate queueing system for our diabetic patients it would mean that they are waiting even longer for their blood test to be performed.

Our staff will always inform the people who are fasting that they can drink water and if they feel that they cannot continue to fast they should for safety reasons always eat.
