"Excellent care"

About: Borders General Hospital / Borders Macmillan Centre Borders General Hospital / General Surgery (Ward 7)

(as the patient),

Last year   my husband was in and out the hospital with a mysterious pain and sickness , Nothing was showing up on scans etc ,the surgeon along with Dr.Dasari decided to operate , they found out  that hubby had a twisted bowel and a recurring  Lymphoma. His treatment from start to discharge was first class on wards 7 & 9 ,He then attended Borders Mac Millan centre and again first class care .

Not long after his discharge I was admitted to A&E with heart problems again the care was first class and nothing was too much trouble for all the staff in Ward 5. Excellent hospital.

Dear Maggie39

Thank you for using Care Opinion to share the details of you and your husband's experience of NHS Borders.

I am sorry to hear that both you and your husband have been unwell and required hospital treatment. It is great to hear that you both found the care to be first class. I will ensure your feedback is shared with staff in the relevant departments and wards. They will greatly appreciate you taking the time to do this.

I hope you are now both keeping well.

Best wishes

Karen
