"Whats the point?"

Whats the point if only having an urgent care centre only in name? Husband sustained minor cut chin weekday at 9pm. Called 111 - they said they would try to get appointment at Oakham or Melton as needed a stitch within 1 hour. So apparently neither Oakham or Melton have the ‘facilities’ to do this! So what do they do? No wonder Peterborough & Leicester A&E are so busy - thats the only option. I despair. What do i do if you can’t drive? Bleed to death slowly while gradually contracting sepsis? It doesn’t take alot of brains to know why NHS is in such crisis. God knows how long he’ll have to wait in A&E when they should be dealing with more immediate life threatening incidents.
