About: Alnwick Infirmary

I am extremely impressed with my treatment at this hospital.

I had a Hernia repair today and everyone that I met provided the highest level of professional care.

The man at reception, all of the nurses in the pre-op theatre, the lovely nurse in recovery.

At every stage of my treatment, I was told exactly what was happening.

They really ensured that I was at ease and what I should expect.

The anaesthetist and consultant surgeon saw me personally before the procedure and post recovery, they did an amazing job.

The nurse who sat with me and explained in great detail what to expect in the next few weeks was very professional and made sure that I was ready to go home.

I wish there were more words of praise for this truly amazing team.

I am sick of hearing complaints about the NHS, please give more publicity to the fantastic service that we all get

I wish that I could mention some names but I understand that this is not allowed
