"Wonderful Staff"

Received a phone call on Friday, inviting me to attend the Day Surgical Unit to have a procedure the following Tuesday. On the day, the staff in DSU and the staff in the theatre, were all professional, caring and diligent, explaining what was happening, and putting me at ease. Having had some bad experiences at Fairfield in the past, Tuesday was an extremely pleasant afternoon (except for the pain, which could not be helped). All the staff, from the receptionists to the doctors, were cheerful and very approachable, even sharing jokes, all of which helped the time fly. Please, pass on my thanks to the staff in the Day Surgical Unit, the theatre staff and the staff from the Pain Clinic. Hopefully, the procedure will work and allow me to spend some time with less pain.
