"Fantastic caring service "

About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital

I had to bring my 92 year old mother to the emergency eye clinic on Sunday 19th January. From my initial phone call, to her being seen the same day, the service she received was fantastic. Special thanks to the doctor that she saw, for such thoughtful and caring treatment of my mother.

Thank you for your kind comments about your recent visit to our Eye Department.

It is unfortunate that your mother had reason to use the service but it’s always nice to know it is there when we need it and that the care and service given to your mother was fantastic.

We are pleased to hear the service was quick from initial call to being seen and that the Dr treating your mother was caring and thoughtful.

We will make sure your kind feedback is passed on to the Matron to be shared with the rest of the team.

Hope your mother is now benefitting from the treatment she received at the weekend.
