"My doctor is someone you should definitely…"

I've seen a particular doctor a few times now and he is really clued up on how to deal with mental health issues. I'm afraid to say with some other GPS's at this surgery I have often felt like they thought I was lying and I didnt really feel unwell just because I wasnt bleeding and didnt have a tumour. I've left crying feeling that I'm pathetic and weak and it's all my fault.

This doctor grasps the link between our gut and our brain, that physical and mental health are connected and he has always appropriately referred me to specialists and has made me feel glad to ask for help when I'm suffering and makes me feel I can come back to see him if I need to. I'd urge you to make him partner, he is a real asset. I've never had the feeling of trust from any other of the tens of doctors I've seen like I do with him. Please support and nurture his talents in the NHS as we dont want to lose him to private health care! Also I have to say reception are amazing too Linda I'm particularly extra fond of but all do really help you and call you back straight away. Thank you
