"a wonderful experience"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as a service user),

I had to come into hospital before my operation because I needed IVs. I stayed on Oak ward in cubicle 1 for 7 nights and I'm excited about going home today.

I have had a wonderful experience here. All the staff have been great, they have all looked after me with care and kindness. They have been really gentle with my IVs and always checked on me and asked if I needed anything. All the cleaning staff have been great and always asked us if it was ok to come in and check if it was the right time to tidy up.

Thanks to all the Musgrove staff and the bandages here are great!

Dear Dave47,

Sorry it has taken us so long to reply. Thank you for your feedback, it is great to hear that everyone looked after you with care and kindness.

It is really nice that you noted the extra care the cleaning staff took to make sure it was the right time to clean your room. The hospital runs through the hard work of many staff and their contribution is often unseen. I will make sure your praise is passed on.

Also nice to know that our bandages are great! If you needed IV's the lines can be a bit painful if they move around or are accidentally knocked, hopefully the bandage prevented this.

I hope your operation went well and that you are fully recovered.
