"Nothing to complain about."

About: University Hospital Monklands / Care of the Elderly (Wards 14,20,22)

(as a volunteer/advocate),

Ward 21 - have only been here 3 days, but desperate to get home to family. I have nothing but praise for the staff who are so nice, but seem very rushed. I think I have been well looked after, get plenty visitors, I like the food but there’s not much of it. Miss watching TV. Hospital could do with things being updated like bathrooms but that won’t happen due to the new hospital getting built I believe.

Dear UHM30

Sorry to hear that you have had a recent hospital admission. I am glad that your experience has mostly been a pleasant one. I will pass onto staff in ward your kind words.

We do appreciate that the hospital is tiring, however in the meantime we have a site plan to upgrade the bathrooms in the meantime awaiting our new Hospital.

Regarding the food portions I will remind catering staff to ask what portion size the patient would like.

I hope that your health continues to improve.
