"Nursing staff kept us laughing and easing any fears"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Neurosurgery (Ward 64 – 66)

(as a service user),

I attended for small procedure. Received excellent care by friendly experienced knowledgeable nursing staff.   Diane & Margaret kept us laughing and easing any fears we had. Also sadly watched as the expertly handled patients who spoke to them very aggressively and appeared disgruntled at having to wait with such a calm and understanding manner. They and all the other staff within the ward are a credit to the nhs. Nothing seemed to much of a bother for the hard working busy staff.

Dear Proud of nhs,

Thank you for taking the time to post this positive feedback of your experience within our Neurology service. Our nursing staff will be delighted to hear that their interactions with you helped to put you at ease. It can be stressful attending appointments and having staff who are professional, calm and caring is key to delivering good person centred care.

Thank you once again for your comments which I will share with the nursing staff and I wish you well in the recovery from your procedure.

Kind Regards

Elaine Burt
