"Excellent GP practice"

I am not one for writing reviews of any type, especially when they are good ones! It is such a shame our doctors and nurses and the team working with them get such a hard time. Reading some of these reviews makes me very angry. I have never been treated with anything other than respect and dignity by the reception girls, by the nurses and doctors. They are so friendly and put you at ease. We are very lucky to have such an amazing practice close by.

My only problem is getting to see my GP as he is so popular he is always booked up.

Today I saw my GP, and I had several issues to ask, because I had waited a month, though I knew I really shouldn’t. Although he was already running a bit late, he listen to all of them in turn, and he wrote down a clear plan for each problem and reassured me hugely. He is an expert in prostates. He even managed to inject my rheumatic thumb as well in this appointment which has been so painful and it was completely pain free already when I left his room. He is a magician! He looks after my elderly mother and she owes him her life after he spotted her lung cancer early so it could be treated.

Not just my GP, all the doctors are so good at the practice. It is immaculately clean and well run, and they have been chosen to train young doctors which must mean they are the best. I just hope they don’t merge with another practice which is nothing like Gosford Hill.
