"Positive experience of intimate procedure"

I attended Huntergreen Medical Practice clinic with Sister MacKinnon for a routine smear test, a normally embarrassing and uncomfortable procedure.

I was immediately put at ease by Nurse MacKinnon and the procedure completely explained to me. She has a kind, professional manner and comes across as though nothing is too much bother for her. I had a truly positive experience, an essential with the nature of this test as I know the uptake is not very high in our country.

The post-procedure information was given thoroughly, giving me an idea as to when I should expect results and also the potential outcomes explained allowing me to understand that I could be recalled but I shouldn’t worry in this instance as there are several reasons as to why.

I would have no qualms attending this clinic in the future and I feel this test is no longer a stressful thing for me following this positive experience.
