Thank you so much to all the doctors and nurses involved in my treatment and care. I fell and broke my hip, in the road, in Kendal.
The paramedics were so professional, but also very caring. The team who carried out my surgery were amazing. Every stage was explained to me. The anaethmatist and the surgeon did such a good job. The nurses worked so hard, and were so kind to me. It was also that very hot spell we had in July. The ward was extremely hot. I do hope perhaps more fans could be supplied if it happens again. I was melting just laying there. My main concern was for the nurses, they were doing a lot of hard work, changing bedsheets, generally running back and forth and caring for all the patients. Even taking those who could to have showers and to wash our hair. The lady who came in each day to help the nurses was lovely, always
had a smile, but quietly got on with her job. The lady with the tea trolley also was smiley and had kind words for everyone.
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.
I am making good progress. I am just sorry it has taken me a while to thank you all. But the thank you is sincere and heartfelt.
