"Broken ankle"

About: New Stobhill Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit

(as the patient),

When I attended the Minor Injuries Unit at Stobhill Hospital the staff were amazing, from the moment I arrived until I left. I was welcomed at reception and the clinician who examined me was clearly very knowledgeable. I was treated with care and consideration in Imaging and likewise when I returned to Minor Injuries to be fitted with the special boot.

It was also most impressive and extremely reassuring to have a follow-up call as quickly as the following morning and a letter with detailed instructions for follow-up care at home. This plan has worked well and I’ve now started on the physio and have begun weaning myself off the boot.
