"Surgery For Bowel cancer"

About: New Cross Hospital / Colorectal surgery

(as the patient),

I recently underwent 3 surgeries to remove bowel cancer. I woke up to find myself on ward A14 surrounded by the most friendly and caring people I could wish for. From the consultants and doctors to the cleaners, all were wonderful. Having had the 'opportunity' to sit and watch the nurses at work on their long shifts, their knowledge and dedication, all carried out with a smile and compassion, deserves  more praise than I can put into words. Thank you everyone.

I would also like to thank the staff on Ward A9 for the aftercare I am still receiving and also the entire team involved from the moment I was diagnosed.
