I received a pre-assessment in the Endoscopy department on Monday 17th December by a nurse who was so kind and reassuring. I had a colonoscopy on Saturday 21st December and to put it mildly I was terrified about the whole process.

From the moment I got to Airedale everyone was so incredibly kind, polite, patient and reassuring. Everywhere and everyone was very clean and tidy.During and after the procedure nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic.

Nowadays everyone has such a negative response to the NHS but I cannot praise them enough. I have had very little contact with hospitals but this has shown me that when you need them the care and kindness is amazing and very, very much appreciated.
