"Care before and after diagnosis of thrombosis"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Combined Assessment Unit (CAU)

(as the patient),

I was admitted to CAU at Crosshouse hospital in April and May this year, before and after diagnosis of thrombosis. The staff were tremendous at all levels, nursing, medical and ancillary. I feel very fortunate to have been cared for at Crosshouse hospital and very grateful for all the NHS care I have received this year. I really can’t thank them enough.

Dear JDD

Thank you for the kind words. Coming into hospital is a scary and a time when you need support and those kind words to help get you through. I am glad you found care at all levels good, we try to ensure we put our patients at the heart of our daily work and strive to do the best we can for them. I hope you are on your way to recovery now.

Kind Regards

Linda Robertson

Lead Nurse, Crosshouse
