"Excellent Maternity and Neo Natal Care"

My whole experience of the Maternity and Neo Natal units at Newham university Hospital was outstanding.

My daughter was delivered by professional staff who looked after me from start to finish. The doctors, nurses, midwives, food service worked extremely hard and genuinely cared about our health and well being.

We are so lucky in this country to have the NHS service. I am so grateful to all the staff who looked after me whilst I was there.

The Neo Natal unit looked after our daughter. The staff were amazing, and answered any queries we had and kept my husband and I updated of my daughters progress. I didn’t even know such a department existed until you actually need it yourself.

The only improvement I would like to make is the waiting time in Zone 4 Maternity assessment unit. After my baby was delivered I felt the post natal care was neglected. I believe there needs to be a separate unit that deals with post natal queries to reduce the wait time.

Overall, great customer experience.
