About: King's Mill Hospital / Breast surgery Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / General surgery

(as a service user),

This year I was diagnosed with 2 types of beast cancer, the staff in the breast care unit are amazing, very caring and helpful.

It was however, overlooked that I had 2 cancers, my results were messed up and some mistakes made, after making a complaint and having a meeting with a senior member of staff and other staff I didn’t feel that I got very far.....too exhausted and stressed to take on anymore hassle I decided to leave it there, I just hope no other lady goes through the same as me.

Now, several months on and after being referred to QMC for a severe reaction under anaesthetic I am disappointed to hear that the relevant information requested from the anaesthetic team still has not be sent to the Dr at QMC, therefore no allergy tests can go ahead until this vital information is given.........my surgery was in May.....how long does it take to get the information together and pass it on to QMC? 😒😒😒😒
